PlayStation revealed on their blog the PS Plus Games for August. These games will be available to download for free until August 31.
The first game is the remaster of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. As one of the most beloved games in the franchise, this will likely come as a welcome addition to fans of the series. However, the game only includes the single player campaign without any of the multiplayer. If you want to pick up a free Call of Duty to play online, Warzone is a fun take on the battle royale genre. Second is a game that I’ve been excited to try out for some time. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout debuts on August 4 and PS Plus subscribers will get to download it for free on release day. It’s an online, last-man-standing game. Sixty players join in to “survive a series of hilarious challenges” until only one is left.
Additionally, a free multiplayer weekend is coming up this month. On August 8 and 9, players can try out some online multiplayer for free without a PS Plus subscription.
And don’t forget that you still have until August 3 to pick up any of July’s free games. These include NBA 2K20, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and Erica.
