Bloomberg recently published the report that Sony is set to reveal their anticipated response to Microsoft’s Game Pass as soon as next week.

Both services aim to function as a sort of Netflix for gaming, allowing subscribers to access and stream a variety of titles from a console’s library. Sony’s ‘Spartacus’ will merge its two existing services, PlayStation Now and PlayStation Plus. Unlike Microsoft’s Game Pass, ‘Spartacus’ will reportedly have subscribers set to differently priced tiers that will offering catalogues of modern and classic PlayStation generations.

According to the report, Microsoft will continue to edge out Sony in the streaming service – whereas Microsoft launches first party exclusives day one onto the Game Pass, Sony’s ‘Spartacus’ is not expected to do the same.
